Wild Rose's
Summer Riding Academy
Why:1 hour of riding once a week is Not enough!
While watching our students it has
become increasingly evident that we need to offer MORE!To give our students the opportunity to reach
the level of horsemanship we are striving to achieve, we need more time with
each and every student. One lesson once week is great, but we can do
better.
How:The Academy will give students 3 days per week
of riding and the learning time that they
Need.
To truly learn horsemanship, students need hands on time with horses.
The Academy will provide supervised instruction in many areas that we are not
able to cover in our regular lesson format. Activities will include plenty of
ride time, stable management, feeding, health care, introduction to other disciplines,
first aid, vaccinations, illness, anatomy, conformation, breed recognition,
guest speakers, demonstrations from professionals and much much more.
When:Monday,
Tuesday and Wednesday every week.
Throughout
the summer
Starting June 7th thru July 28th.
Time 8:00am to 1:00pm
daily.
Who:Adults
& Kids alike. If you want to become a better equestrian this is for you!
Students will be separated into age/ability
groups. All students currently in the lesson program at Wild Rose Equestrian Center are eligible to attend.
Cost:$95
for 3 days.
Compared to your one hour
lesson at $30
Bring:Students
will need to bring these items daily. A sack lunch, change of clothes,
riding boots. sun block, shorts, tennis shoes and snacks to get them through
the day.
Please understand this program is not in addition to
your regular lessons, it is in lieu of your regular lesson. As we are aware of
the financial obligation, weekly payments will be accepted.
